Ground based thermal surveys are recommended following an aerial survey as a ground survey covers the whole building and provides images that are much closer and far more detailed. Our qualified thermographers will also provide an extensive detailed report highlighting areas of concern and outlining recommendations.

As the report is produced independently it will provide an ideal objective platform from which to develop and implement a building improvement programme.

The report also includes energy calculations which are invaluable as they give an indication of what energy savings and CO2 emissions can be made for each specific improvement. This information can then be factored into the cost of making the improvements and the figures can then be compared to identify those which will offer the best benefits and savings. This ensures budgets are targeted and assists in setting priorities.

Surveys have to be completed in the winter months because buildings will be heated to optimal levels, with the temperature difference between the inside and outside providing the best indication of heat loss from the building.
